Dear Taji Wrap Community,

As the moon heralds the arrival of Ramadan, we're excited to present a special edition of our newsletter, featuring Kinaya, a cherished member of the Taji Wrap family. Kinaya's observance of Ramadan is not just a period of fasting; it's a journey of self-discovery, spirituality, and community bonding.

Kinaya: A Beacon of Devotion and Inspiration

Our conversation with Kinaya shed light on her personal experiences and reflections during Ramadan. Here are the highlights of our insightful interview:

1. Personal Significance of Ramadan:

Ramadan, for Kinaya, is a time to deepen her awareness of God and improve her devotion. It's about addressing habits that need adjustment and strengthening her connection with The Highest Power. This commitment is not just for Ramadan but extends throughout the year, involving an in-depth study of the Quran and implementing its teachings in her daily life. Engaging in extra acts of kindness and charity is her way of worshiping and pleasing the Most High.

2. Unique Traditions and Practices:

Kinaya's family refrains from food and liquids from dawn to sunset during Ramadan, dedicating more time to prayer and understanding the Quran. Suhoor, the pre-dawn meal, and breaking the fast with family and friends are essential parts of her routine. Generosity is a priority, especially towards those in need. Her family tradition includes turning off the TV to focus on acquiring new skills, with Kinaya excited to start beekeeping this year.

3. Challenges and Rewards:

Despite past health issues that hindered her full participation in the physical fast, Kinaya has managed to observe more thanks to Allah's grace. A challenge for her is consistently reading a set amount of Quranic verses daily, aiming to complete the Quran by the end of Ramadan, and maintaining this practice year-round.

4. Reflection, Prayer, and Personal Growth:

Ramadan is a time for Kinaya to set goals and work on habits to become a better person. It's about reflecting on global challenges and finding ways to help others, focusing on sincerity rather than show.

5. Empowerment and Inspiration as a Woman:

For Kinaya, observing Ramadan brings discipline, self-control, compassion, and gratitude. It empowers her to become a better individual, reflecting on others' struggles and contributing positively to her faith community.
